Why it is goodBirds that already used the cornice get a designed ledge instead of being blocked by new cladding.

In this demo story, an architect and a bird group specified ledge depth and shade before the facade contractor closed the wall.

1. The spec is a drawing, not a mural of a bird.
2. Maintenance staff will check the ledges once a year for blockage.
3. The building still does its job. The animals keep a place on it.
