In this demo story, a nonprofit leased the next-door duplex, furnished rooms, and staffed an overnight desk already used in the original house.

1. Intake still requires a referral from a clinic the house already works with.
2. Residents help cook on a posted roster. The night desk logs incidents and quiet hours.
3. The expansion is beds and staffing, not a claim that addiction is over.
